For me it's the best FPS of the gen.

yeah its online only but thats not a big deal your not going to get cod mw2 just for the campaign, also killzone 2, resistance 2, etc most of the gamers will be playing those online 90% of the time. MAG is agreat game but different than most fps if you haven't checked it out you should

I figured this would happen. It'd go the route of Warhawk. It'd have decent to good initial sales, but non-existent legs. The first group of buyers would form a very dedicated and very hardcore playerbase that would intimidate new users, stymieing future growth.

It is one of my favorites games I return to when there's no new games to play. Also lot of fun when some friends are around.

I tried BC2 at my mates apartment, it's the same as the first one with some more polish, was dissapointed. (multiplayer-wise atleast)

As long as MAG keeps getting more DLC, I'm gonna stick with it.

Lol, i'd like to see those ps3 exclusives that were hyped and then turned out to be nothing much (especially in the last two years).

I've put in over 100 hours into Mag and I honestly think its the best FPS I have ever played gameplay wise. The 256 player battles are brilliant. I hear people saying that the 256 player battles don't work but thats because people won't use mics. Trust me when everyones comunicating and following fragos the game is excellent.

People need to remember that this game is an online only game thats also a new IP which released in the biggest first quarter for games that I have ever seen. Also this game costs the same as every other game on store shelves. I think the sales are great for the game considering those factors. Also if you compare those sales to ever other new IP that released recently its done a lot better than most.

yeah i still play it once in a while. Still haven't reached level 60 yet =(

SOCOM 4 should be able to do far better numbers than Confrontation.
