Question: Are there any other PAL players besides me and woopah?

Yes; me. I'll add my ID later this week.

Okay all 3 of you guys seem to be okay with that time, I hope the location works out, I want to figure how I can get VGC to work with this game community wise, maybe even make a League from the blue prints of this event.

If anyone else wants to make a team go ahead, the next time I may do something like this would be on Sunday, I will announce it on Friday.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

This game is just awesome. I've been playing MH3 every evening for several hours at evenings now, both offline/online. In fact, it's like a MMORPG, when you can manage whether you play solo PVE or instanced PVE. Main concern I have about online, is that I struggle sometime to find a good lobby. But when I find a good team, you can play for hours with kewl guys.

Switch axe question: The sword is stronger, but by how much? Seems like maybe 20 % to me. Also, is there a special super powerful attack (like the charge of the great sword)?

Still need PAL players, there are some tough quests ahead and it's difficult to get a good group of four together. Which means that Chrizum is of no use judging by his MK Wii skills.

Why do you insist on hurting my feelings? Is it because my country is going to win the World Cup and your country didn't even qualify?

Just like I thought.

At least your country's most famous person is more famous than my county's most famous person.

I've found a new affinity for the Lance in general play, i.e. when not fighting a boss. I get the broadest sweep of attack and defense to be able to wade through a horde of enemies and come out pretty well.

I've generally had the opposite experience with the lance: it's great for bosses, since your front essentially becomes a fortress, but it's too slow and its thrust has too limited an area to be effective against crowds. How do you handle hordes?

You can swing it sideways, too, that catches pretty much everything about 150 degrees in front of you or so.

How?

Australian hunter signing in.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Twist the Wiimote rightwards. Not sure what that is on other schemes.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Axe Question... Is the sword stronger?

Switch Axe (SA) Axe form is stronger for laying in and getting in. It's forward attack as in move forward then tap up for the attack or just attack neutral is a leaping in attack, that can be followed by 2 other attacks back to a leaping in attack.

The thing is after the leaping in attack by pressing the switch button to the sword you can combo into the sword without a pause, by presing the special action button you can do its giant phallic thrust thing which uses ammo, you cannot evade, and will revert you back to Axe.

Typically each sword adds an element to the SA so they could be stronger or weaker depending on what y0our fighting.
