this isn't....sonic and mario are milking it...
OK, now they're seriously milking the Kingdom Hearts series...
They're milking it for sure | 53 | 65.43%
They're not milking it | 28 | 34.57%
Total: | 81 |
The only thing that ticks me off is their philosophy of releasing varios titles of the same series on different systems of the same gen.
Anyways, I'm currently playing KH2 and have not played KH1 which was a huge mistakes because I was royaly spoiled lol

Why do the games being story-related make it worse than non story-related games with more iterations?

I said they were milking it a while ago, when they announced two new titles (one for DS and PSP), 2 cell phone games and 'more in planning'. Now you're just seeing the eventual result. Its not going to stop until sales slide like with Final Fantasy.

So your complaint is that its multiplat and you need to play them in order?
Those aren't all that great. It isn't difficult to play them in order (huh, should I start with Kingdom Hearts 1, or the side-title on the DS?).
And you don't need the side-stories, the main story relays them back pretty well.
And at your multiplatform complaint: that is perfectly legitimate. But the main game sticks to a main console.
And if you're really so concerned about missing out on the story, you would go and read about it.

It's because you'll need to own anywhere from four-five different platforms to play every game and understand the entire story. You already need a PSP, DS and PS2. Let's assume at least one of these new three games are going to be on a console. That's four platforms. Now what if there's one game on the Wii and another on the PS3/360? That'll be five different platforms. It's a lot of platforms a fan has to own to get the whole story and it's not reasonable for most people to own that many.
im just kind of pissed because there is still no KH for a console...and not even really in sight...i mean they want to start KH3 after FF Versus?really...what does that mean?release date 2014 or something?
