Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Prince of Persia : This is how you make a multi game on the Wii!

No way O.o this is Ubisoft, actually showing major effort on the wii? Someone pinch me, I'm almost sold just because of that.

It looks sweet. I'll most likely get this one

Ubisoft actually put decent effort into the Wii and were one of the only 3rd-party's to have a range of games available for the console around release. Admitedly Sega and to a lesser extent EA have pushed Wii a bit more since then but they have still brought out some good stuff for Wii.

So, do we like Ubisoft or do we hate them, this month?

Anyway, the PoP games always deliver (I read that in a thread, before). It wouldn't surprise me if this is the best 3rd party Wii game that we get, this year.

Maybe they are finally getting around to making games of "Nintendo Quality" albeit a year or so late.

the only problem i have is that we are 3.5 years into the wii life cycle and i should not be seeing games that look worse than their gamecube counterparts

this

game looks like its been made for the ps2

The game looks ugly. Very ugly.

This game seems to be early in development. I'm sure with some polish it'll look better! :D

Edit: Wait, no, I didn't see the date at the end. 2 months? =/ It better get some polish...

The 2D plants stand out negatively in some places, but otherwise everything looks pretty good and the features sound interesting.

Thats the only negative thing I can find in the whole video, and some power use that seems to be a bit forced. But if they manage to pull this off right, this could be a true gem Man I hope that they wont ruin one of the best game series ever

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

This game looks like a PSP game..

Platforming looks interesting though.

Pixel Art can be fun.

I loved the 2 last gen PoP games, and this one looks like it will be at least as good as those.

I do agree that some of the graphics look really nice, while other areas (single polygon vines? Still?) look a little meh. Some low res textures in some spots

But overall I am pretty excited about this one.

I am a Gauntlet Adventurer.

I strive to improve my living conditions by hoarding gold, food, and sometimes keys and potions. I love adventure, fighting, and particularly winning - especially when there's a prize at stake. I occasionally get lost inside buildings and can't find the exit. I need food badly. What Video Game Character Are You?

I'd have to see the levels to see of scale is why the graphics are not that detailed.

Games with large scale levels are more common now than last gen, so the graphics have to be reduced to compensate. Even the HD games do this.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
