well ok im 14 almost 15 and i kinda want heart gold. i have two friends that are getting it but they kinda seem imiture (srry bought spelling) i have gotten picked on in the past a lot for liking pokemon and i just recently quit, am i too old for it?

heck i am 19 and i still enjoy the pokemon games...

the TV-cartoon is a different matter since it has always been for younger kids, but the games are solid RPGs with tons of content, and for the real hardcore there is so much micromanagement that it blows your mind.

With spelling like that I'd say you're about the perfect age for a 'MY FIRST ABC of POKEMON' book.

@ Toastboy. I went through the same sort of phase as it were, that's why i skipped Ruby and Sapphire, but by age 17, i had come back around again for Pearl.

Nope. If I had a DS to play them on I would def get them. I'm still rocking the Game Boy Pocket and have only owned Blue. I played Leaf Green and Sapphire on emulators though last year. Great games.

You might be in the age where you might be embarrassed to play them but just don't tell anyone is what I say. In a few years you should be good to play them openly if that's what you're worried about.
