you can never be too old for something you like, and if you like it i think you should get it...
heck i am 19 and i still enjoy the pokemon games...
the TV-cartoon is a different matter since it has always been for younger kids, but the games are solid RPGs with tons of content, and for the real hardcore there is so much micromanagement that it blows your mind.
