Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Finally, first Metro 2033 review

Nice. Great to see another new IP start well with the reviews.

Hope to see it continue. Good score from CVG. I'm glad, I thought it looked great. Will definately pick this up before the lackluster FF13.

The first scores were 8/10 from XBOX gamer magazine and 85/100 from Gamestar

if we're just talking about CVG then you may want to rethink your stance on FFXIII

I have a huge dilema.

Get it on PC which fully supports Nvidia 3D vision...or get it on 360 which does achievements and has trade in value when im done.

I went to my mates yesterday. And we started his copy of FF13. After 2 hours, it was enough. It's not poor poor. But it certainly is the boringest FF game Ive played yet. It can definately wait for other better games deserve a purchase. IMO of course. I just got FF7 on PC, and would rather play that again than buy FF13.

The game does get much better after chapter 6. That being said, it's probably my favorite jrpg this gen, just nudging out LO. If only LO's main plot was as good as it's stories, it would be the winner by a mile.

FF13 is a good game, its just not to be taken the same way. The combat and the visuals are absolutely stunning, music is great too. Story is actually really really good, it's just some nit picking that makes it seem bad.

It's a far better game than people are letting on. Its a 70 hour game, you cannot judge its entirety by the first 2 hours. Still, you are entitled to your opinion.

I just finished Stalker: CoP last night and my post nuclear aplocalyptic adventure desire has not yet been filed, bring on Metro 2033.

The setting seems like the best part of this, and it's an awesome setting. I'll get this on my PC sometime.

I hope this will be a sleeper hit. We need more European developers.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

looks like another hit for the the 360

Does it support 3d?

I was thinking about getting it and even without the 3d I decided on the PC. Looks and controls better that way.

I also got a huge STALKER vibe when I saw the video, but my hopes of having a STALKER without its problems may be a bit too high I think.
