Forums - Gaming Discussion - Suda51: Natal is great, Sony's Arc isn't exciting

That's odd, because he said that he was interested in Arc just a few days ago.

In an ENGLISH interview, rather than one that's been translated from French.

to me this doesn't sound as if he actually has had his hands on either of them.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

im confused but i do agree about the arc/wiimote thing.. but didn't he praised both arc a couple days ago?

Also take note of this, though.

"Etant donné que NMH : Paradise sort sur PS3 et Xbox 360, serait-il possible de voir arriver NMH2 sur ces mêmes plateformes ?

Having released NMH: Paradise on PS3 and 360, would it be possible to see NMH2 on the same platforms?

En ce qui concerne la sortie de NM2 sur PS3 et Xbox 360, je n’en sais rien. Ce n’est pas moi qui décide mais la maison d’édition."

Concering the release of NMH2 on PS3/360, I have no idea. I don't decide the platforms; that's up to the publishers.

I agree with his point - I'm sure natal will be great for NMH

Sony's Arc is the same thing as Nintendo's Wiimote...seriously..it's a new skin, with a glowing ball at the tip...wow. That's not a new outlook to gaming anymore now that Nintendo has dominated that market, and shown what motion controlled gaming is all about. Natal is controller free, and not only is it a camera, but it works at a microphone also, wtc. That's what Suda means...it's just more of the same with Arc (granted the HD experience, but still..controller wise..the same), while Natal brings a new experience (while not perfect, it's a start at something fresh).

Not really... the Arc is an improvement on the wiimote, Natal is an improvement on the Eyetoy.

It appears to be a slight improvement in that it senses more accurately motions towards and away from the screen, which might prove useful. It does though appear to have no nunchuk device at present. We shall see if it is in fact any better.

Personally, I think it is all about the software. Nintendo are probably going to chuck out loads of motionplus content in the 2nd half of the year.

Yes.

well no matter what Suda does Im buying his next game.

I actually agree with him natal looks like big project and seems it will get more developers intrest but sonys arc looks like 3 year old kid toy.

i see, the trolls have arc and natal in their hands, so they can speak knowing everything about them.
