Best computer in general: VAIO

Best computer for gaming: Alienware

Worst: Idk

Alienware is an absolute rip off, i was doing a comparison and a custom built system from them that was $5000-7000 you can build for $2500.

Acer is far from a bad company. Their build quality is impressive.

I dont understand how you can even put dell where it is.. it should be dead last.

My Gaming Setup

Dell did used to be shitty... wouldnt touch them with a barge pole in the old days.

but not any more....

I have my first dell laptop (XPS Studio 16), its superb. Also when the battery packed up for some odd reason after a few months, they sent an engineer with a new battery to my home within 24 hours... an engineeer to fit a battery!? awesome. lol

Yeah, I've had nothing but good experiences with Dell (service).  My desktop keyboard packed up, sent me a new one without any questions.  GF was unhappy with a tiny little scratch on the black area at the edge of the screen, I told her to suck it up, they wouldn't fix such a small thing.  Turns out I was wrong and they replaced the whole screen, no questions.

@Kowenicki: How do you find the XPS Studio 16?  Trying to decide between a laptop and desktop for my next comp and if i get a laptop I'm leaning strongly towards the Studio 16.

Sad how so many people buy into Apple's marketing. You'd think people would be smarter than take it up the rear from a company whose entire strategy revolves around total monopolization and limiting what you can do with their products to their own profit.

I don't think I like Apple because of marketing... I'm pretty sure I like Apple because I've enjoyed my experiences using them, while I've been generally frustrated with my Windows PC's.

Also, I hope one day you get the chance to feel the wonders of taking it up the rear so you'll understand how silly it is to use that in a negative connotation.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Can't really see myself ever viewing spending twice as much on a computer that does half as much in a positive light.
