I have my first dell laptop (XPS Studio 16), its superb. Also when the battery packed up for some odd reason after a few months, they sent an engineer with a new battery to my home within 24 hours... an engineeer to fit a battery!? awesome. lol

I've had a similar experience- excellently priced and built laptop, great service.

Worst value is probably a toss up between Apple and Sony.

Best: Dell (never had a problem + their computers last so long for me).
Worst: Compaq.... I've personally seen the problems, and had to fix them muliple times.



Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

Yeah, but is it an actual Apple-branded PC, or is it a Hackintosh?

Apple PCs aren't the only PCs that can run OSX, as I'm sure you'd know, despite Apple's best efforts to monopolize the platform.

I don't know what people have against dell. I've had this Dell PC for about 3 years now, and it's worked great for me. Never had any problems with it at all. I guess it's anecdotal, but I love my dell PC.
