Honestly, Shake It! didn't appeal to me when I played it, but I could tell there was a ton of polish in the game and that it'd appeal to the right people. It just wasn't the same kind of platformer that I really enjoy playing.

Out of curiosity, what about it didn't appeal to you?

To be honest, I think it was the pacing of the game. I know you can race through levels if you want, but the way Wario controlled also turned me off. It's hard to explain, I just didn't feel like he was responsive enough.

He is supposed to be more of a slower powerhouse then say Mario though.

I liked the controls but your entitled to your opinion.

Godzilla? King of the Monsters? Yes, he has the title, but Vampires have the longevity.

At one time this sort of thing would have to be debated at length. Today we can just pull out Scribblenauts and check.

Oh we're going to debate it anyway.  Stay tuned...........

I don't even know how many times Godzilla has destroyed Tokyo.

A vampire can't even destroy a small town and even though they have longevity, they will be ruined forever by Twilight.

Yeah, see my edit.

I can see why anyone would really enjoy the game, it just wasn't for me, unfortunately. Another reason I think it sold poorly was because of the price, a lot of people felt it was too steep for a 2-d platformer. I don't know why, since everyone seemed to buy NSMBWii.

Shhhh......not here.  Not now.  Soon.  We'll debate it, soon.  Be patient.

Patient.

Maybe people don't like Wario as a character.
The game looked great, I just don't like Wario.

Nevermind.

On topic: Wario was the kind of game I wanted to buy. I actually intended to buy it several times. For whatever reason, I always wound up buying other games instead. And when EB Games had the "buy two get one free" sale going on, we wound up buying "Bully".

My guess is that it was just bad timing.

I can't exactly put my finger on what it was, but it just didn't capture me like I thought it would.

I played 4 or 5 levels. Once I got through one, I really had no desire to go back and try to collect all of the extra stuff unlike with NSMBWii or SMG where I have played levels over and over and over until I got everything.

After a very brief period of time, I moved on to another game and never picked it back up until I sold it.

Now Playing: Pikmin, Super Mario Galaxy 2

I'm guessing that Bully was the free game that you got in your "buy two get one free" sale, right?

If I had a choice between a free Rockstar game and a free Nintendo game which do you think that I'd choose?  Maybe you can solve that mystery.

Well the PS3 & Xbox fanboy aren't gamers they are just biased sissy people who THINK they are "hardcore".

They won't buy GOOD games because of this bias. That is partially why it didn't sell well.

You know if UC2,BioShock 2,and CoDMW 2 were ONLY on the Wii the PS3 fanboys would not buy them.

Klonoa is a better platformer if you ask me. Wario Land: Shake It has great animation, but the platforming felt primitive, and gimmicky.
