Darc Requiem said: I said it was obvious that we simply disagree on this issue but yet here you are again posting the definition of rip off in an attempt to insult my intelligence. I don't agree with you on this. I think it's rip off, I think the $20 is too much for an incomplete version of game. You might want to look at the definition you keep posting. It's clear that you don't comprehend what you've been pasting in your own posts. So let me underline it for you. I think MS is charging too much for what they are delivering. You don't. Posting a dissenting opinion isn't pissing and moaning BTW. KI may become a complete product. The problem with episodic content is that there is no guarantee that the product will be completed. |
Hey, I'm just showing you what the word means so you use it correctly in the future. If that's insulting then maybe you're a little sensitive. Once again, you use the word rip off incorrectly. I give up! Words have no meaning anymore I guess.
Charging too much is subjective and KI is clearly much higher quality than the typical game that releases for $20. If KI can provide several or many hours of entertainment then its arguably worth $20.
Your opinion is... MS is ripping people off. The reality is nobody is being ripped off because MS is being honest about what the product will offer for $20. Hence, your opinon is actually incorrect simply based on the definition of rip off. However, if MS doesn't deliver what was promised for $20, it's indeed a rip off.
It doesn't matter if the new KI is completed. They're selling 8 characters for $20. Take it or leave it. When season 2 rolls out, it'll probably be another 8 characters for $20. This is a different strategy than we're accustomed to and I think there is potential for the game to be more successful going this route. Especially considering fighters don't sell as well as they once did.
