With the PS4 coming out, there won't be much reason to buy another PS3, especially with how cheaply the new PS3 Slims are. It'll probably never happen unless Sony leaves the PS3 out there for another 7-8yrs. It's all irrelevant at this point anyways since the Next-Gen has already started. A new race has already begun....

The chart isn't accurate. For one Sony had losted billions in 2009, 2010, 2011, and $4.6 million in loses in 2012. They reported that themselves. Microsoft said they were debt free with their XBox back in 2011, so they were no longer in the red that year and beyond. So the numbers don't jive here. I don't know about Nintendo. They were making profits off their Wii from day one....
