How MS could take a chunk out of Sony's sales this Holiday!

in Gaming Discussion, last active on on 08 July 2015

4 Things MS could do to really sell great this holiday, and take the wind out of Sony's sales.  1. Advertise Backwards Compatibilty. I think this one is a given for MS. Anyone who is in retail will tell you how big of a feature this actually is. It won't just boost software sales, but anyone on the fence about buying a console this holiday might make their final decision based on this...

Possible Solution to Game Rentals

in Gaming Discussion, last active on on 10 June 2013

As of right now the only way to rent games for consoles is disc base. What if say Gamefly came up with a digital rental service. For X amount of money you can rent a game for 48+ hrs, and after that set amount of time the game will erase off your harddrive. Similar to how you can rent movies from XBL marketplace. With the whole required internet connection for X1 I can see this being a possible...

Will 2013 be the first year the Ps3 sells more software than the X360?

in Sales Discussion, last active on on 19 February 2013

Ever year this gen the 360 has sold more software than the ps3. With the next gen consoles arriving this year, and lack of many AAA exclusives for the 360, do you think Ps3 will finally lead between the HD twins? It'll be interesting to see by years end. It'll be really damn close, but I do think the Ps3 has it in it. For reference: Total X360 SW for 2012: 135,533,045 Total Ps3 SW for...

Do you believe in Paranormal entities?

in General Discussion, last active on on 03 October 2012

Before I state if I believe in Ghost or not you should know right away I'm Agnostic. At one point in my life I didn't believe ghost exist at all, and just completely brushed them off because I had never personally encountered anything paranormal. Any of my friends or family that used those ghost shows as evidence, I would tell them they were dumb. The thing is though, ghost being real or not,...

So who is getting Spelunky on xbla? Reviews inside

in Microsoft Discussion, last active on on 03 July 2012

Spelunky currently holds a 89 on metacritic. This could fluctuate up or down, but probably stay within 5 points of that score. Polygon-100Eurogamer-100Destructiod-95IGN-90Teamxbox-90Gameinformer-80Gamesbeat-70(only reason they gave a 70 is because of how difficult it gets) I'm quite suprised at how well recieved this game is. I wasn't thinking much of it before, but I'll definitely give the...

Lets Guess the launch Line-up for the Nextbox!

in Microsoft Discussion, last active on on 07 October 2012

So, what do you think the Nextbox, or what ever you want to call it, will launch with? I got the idea from IGN, and they have a pretty solid list of games that could potentially launch on the Nextbox, but I have some other games that come to mind as well? I'll start with the obvious one, Bungie's codename, "Destiny" game because it was leaked as a xbox 360 and Xbox 720 game. If Turn 10...

I don't think my laptop can run Amnesia :(

in PC Discussion, last active on on 01 June 2012

Like I stated in the title; I don't think my laptop can run Amnesia and I really want to play this game.  Before people start telling me I need this type of graphic cards, etc. I don't do any PC gaming at all (beside the occasional flash game) and I only just downloaded steam today for the Humble Bundle deal.
