Forums - Gaming Discussion - Do you preorder games?

pre ordering helps the game developer out. game stores buy games according to how many preorders they get. If the games in stock others are more likely to see it and pick it up. This creates more sales and the chance of a sequel is more likely.

I always preorder every game I know I'll get even some I'm not sure. I can always cancel them if I change my mind after the game releases.

I really want that Mass Effect 2 Terminus armor. >:(

nope its a waste of time

I'm a cheap bastard (no offense mom) and usually wait for a price drop before buying a game (especially HD) so unless I simply must have the game day 1 and am willing to pay full price 'cause it'll give me endless hours of enjoyment , no, I don't pre-order. Unless of course, I get a good discount for pre-ordering as I did with NSMBW.

I do pre-order sometimes if I have the money, if not then I just wait.

Sometimes, if you know the game is gonna get sold out when it hit the shelves

There is no Knowledge that is not Power

I only pre order if it comes with something free.

Like when I was younger, Target gave free Pokemon Bookcards when you pre order Pokemon Gold and Silver :]

Battlefield Bad Company 2 > Modern Warfare 2

I have actually preordered only Gta San Andreas.

Take my love, take my land..

No, theres no reason to do it. Actually you might even be able to get most of games faster than those who preorder.

well I pre-order games all the time
