Well after 4 reviews the game has a 69 average on Metacritic.

We knew since 2008 that WKC was an average JRPG.

Demon's Souls also received a 29/40 from Famitsu

6 on a scale of 10 is average, not bad.

In my opinion to many games are getting to high of scores to frequently. There's nothing really special about getting 9's or 10's anymore because so many reviewers just had those out.

It's like Kira and Randy from American Idol. They are way to nice, way to often and they vote yes to tons of crap. Where as Simon is the opposite. If he likes you then you know you've got something special.

Depends on the game.  Usually they're pretty average, but their 7.5 for R&C: Tools of Destruction and 8.8 for Twilight Princess were some of the lowest scores the two recieved.

Oh! I'd definitely take issue with their R&C score. Not quite sure how an 8.8 could be an outlier for any high quality game, even one that averages 9.6, it's still in the right range.

I suppose it really isn't, but I was one of the Zelda fanboys that flipped the shit at a major site giving the game below a 9 at the time.

i really don't like gamespot, they have been unfair to both ps3 and wii games, wheras they seem to give a lot of slack to x360 games, why on earth don't other games don't get marked down for not being original(and most games are not!!), it is the worst and most hypocritical practice to use.

here are some examples of overated x360 games

forza3: 9.5/10 (should be 8.5)

halo 3 odst: 9/10 (should be 8 )

gears 2: 9/10 (it had too many glitches should be 8/10)

sorry if i offend any x360 fans here it's just my opinion

The Halo francise is the most overrated bland game to ever hit the console market. It provides a bad name to all FPS that even showed effort at creating an original entertaining plot.

I probably have more ps3 games than you :/
