You should focus on upgrading the ship and completing side-missions, time will be important after obtaining the IFF.

He can still do side missions after gaining the IFF. I had a similar experience to Starcraft, I thought I missed a character too. I'm still doing side quests now. I'm getting each star system to 100% to make sure I didn't miss any side quests and I have the IFF. I'm refusing to use the Omega 4 Relay because I think that's going to prompt me to reinsert disc 1.

This contains some spoilers. Was your ship attacked and the crew got kidnapped by the Collectors?

Yeah that happened. It freaked me out for bit because I hadn't scanned all the planets yet. I thought I wouldln't be able to conclude my side missions. I'm still able to travel all over the galaxy and do side missions though. I haven't touched the Omega 4 Relay because I'm sure if I do, it will send me into final mission of the game.

Yes, passing through the Omega-4 Rally will start the final mission, however you can still travel around the galaxy after it, providing you survived. But there is one small problem, I wont spoil it, you'll find out at the end.

I have a bad feeling you are going to tell me that....you have to chase immediately after the Collectors to save your crew. ME1 didn't have take accounting of time and neither has ME2 thus far unless it was one of those you have 5 minutes to escape before the station/building explodes missions. Please tell me that isn't the case.

I have bad news. After the crew gets kidnapped and the IFF is installed you have time to do one mission, afterwards the Collectors will "kill" them.

Damn and I hadn't been staggering my saves like I usually do. I'm gonna have to go back probably 4 or 5 hours then.

I find it hard to care, considering how awful Zaeed was. It's unlikely I'd get it unless it was free. It's really depressing, after Shale being so incredible in Dragon Age, for Zaeed to be one of the worst RPG party members I've ever seen. Insanely generic, incredibly annoying. If they release DLC to push his ass out the airlock I'll get it.

Yeah Zaaed is definitely no Shale. I did like his loyalty mission though. I think part of the reason he was free was because he's lacking. I don't think any possible DLC characters would be as shallow because they want to people to actually buy then.

I was wrong. I basically didn't stack my saves for ME2 session on Monday so I'm actually still playing catch up to where I was before. I thought I had to go back 4 hours and I had to go back 9 and half. Thanks for heads up though I'd hate to have been in the final stretch fo the game and then find out what you told me.
