Maybe because every character not named Sonic, Tails, or Robotnik suck ass? That's why I don't like them, personally.

I do find the whining about the characters to be odd and maybe even a little stupid when you consider that Sonic games have always had a growing cast of characters from the very beginning. A Sonic game that does not introduce a new character is the exception. Always has been.

Hell, a Goomba is more famous than any Sega, Sony and Microsoft character - with very few exceptions

Just on the characters you say thar are main character there are unnecessarie ones.

Well, these are annoying and poorly constucted characters. Shadows intruduction in SA2 was the only passable one (IMO) because there was a worthwhile background and some character development along the way. Everything else is just a rat that talks.

 So, if they are already "annoy'd" by them in their many few apperances, they would want them to appear always? How contradictary bro.
