It was also out of the top 20 once in 2009

NSMB Wii should be somewhere in between them.

I doubt it, but it is possible.
Against you is that for one thing Wii Sports will always take up a slot.... if there are 2 big games released in the West they will take up 4 spots (PS3+360 seperate) A decent release or two in Japan for PSP or DS (or a highly anticipated PS3/Wii release) will easily beat it.

If say PES and FIFA release near enough each other (about October) along with a decent DS Japan release and a decent PSP release, and if that week coincides with say Galaxy/Metroid/Zelda.... that's already 8 spots taken sure to be higher than NSMBWii.... 2 more is easy enough with a moderate shooter release.

It will remain in or near the top ten for probably the next 2 years.... but like Mario Kart Wii and DS, and NSMB:DS and other long stay titles... it is pretty simple to knock them out for the odd week or two in the middle.
