They are all the youtube and other interweb videos of cutscenes and gameplay footage burned onto a DVD made to look like a blu-ray disc, and sold to you for $5 as a game.

Naturally you'll be taking your controller in to get repaired because you can't get it to make the characters do what you want.

OP: Posting photos of counterfeit games with no context does nothing but create baseless speculation. Where were these games purchased? Are the discs blu-ray or dvd? Do some of the discs contain the actual game (even if they're currently not playable) or are they just crappy chinese imitations that they sell to unsuspecting buyers?

Adding something to your op besides photos would have been beneficial. Like the source...

Believe me, they would go through the trouble of selling unusable bootleg copies. Thats how the asian black market rolls. I imagine that there are plenty of consumers out there in Asia (as well as tourists) who would be duped into buying these. Not everyone is in the know about this kind of stuff. I mean to this day you still see people asking on internet forums whether the PS3 could play backups or not. And I bet there are people out there that actually think these games are real as opposed to bootlegs.

finally the truth. and come on this isnt sonys moveand september 11th wasnt aan inside job, they arent even making money on  hardware sales.why would they do this? the conspiracy argument makes no sense and 360 games and consoloes will always be cheaper. in my country you can buy 360 games like mass effect or mw2 for 2 dollars. and bluerays cost a fortune here.

There is no current hack which allows you to play pirated PS3 blu-ray games.

That "hack" by that geo nerd, that "hack" is next to useless.
