Forums - Sony Discussion - MAG should be a PSN title... like SOCOM, Warhawk..

Maybe, but the PSN download for the beta was 2 gigs.....

I think it needs a cheaper price. It's a fun game and all, but I don't think it's worth the full $60 price tag. Heck, at least with Warhawk $20 of my purchase went into that bluetooth headset that came with it and I used it till the day the ear clip broke (or there was also the cheaper version sans the headset). Heck, with Socom you could say that the game itself only costs $10 of the new price if you get the headset bundle since the official PS3 headset costs $50 on it's own.

MAG doesn't have something like that and it's already a hit or miss game with people as well as a game that would benefit from people using mics (but a mute button is needed.... I don't like the current method of putting people on your block list).

You can access a player's profile in-game via the scoreboard. You'd select block. If it puts them on your block list so you wouldn't be able to get any messages from them or anything.

I mean, somebody is just being annoying on the mic, why not just be able to mute them and call it that instead of filling up your block list with a ton of PSN accounts that you'd probably only see in one or two matches?

And the reviews are just awful...

So much hype for nothing is only going to hurt Sony's credibility, again.

We've seen few reviews, and none of them are below 7. It's sitting at a 78, indicating favorable reviews. Not only that, but some of them aren't even finalized reviews. Don't blow things out of proportion.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

I think MAG isn't a "mainstream" game, similar to the Socom games.

Yes I want it to sell a ton copies, before I heard my friends talking I thought it needed a big base, but they tell me they like clanned community. They don't want a flood of people that don't want to follow rules.

MAG had pretty much no hype. At launch, there was maybe one thread about it on the main page of the Sony forum.

Compare that to LBP with about eight, Killzone 2 with 12 and countless for Uncharted 2.

I also don't think that PSN version would really affect sales. Not to forget how "massive"....heh.....the game would be to download.

MAG was hyped? Last I checked I made a thread asking if anyone else was impressed with the beta. 6/10 would say they hated it.

Also, averaging a 78 on Meta is now bad? You can believe that if you wish but that to me is ridiculous. Tales of Vesperia is easily near the top if not the top JRPG I have played so far this generation and it is a 79 on Meta. Let us also not forget the love and praise for Lost Odyssey, another game with a 79 average on Meta.

Does that make either of these bad games? Not in the least.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

A PSN release would just make it easier (aka for the lazy people) to find it.

But it's still going to have the same price as the retail copy. So PSN isn't the answer.
