You need the coupon from the paper. It's not an automatic deal at checkout. For example, last night my wife and I went to take advantage of the Wii promo, and do some Christmas shopping for our son while we were there. We took the circulars and presented the coupon while checking out the Wii games and received the $10 gift card. At our final checkout (about $200 in kids toys at the main register) we did not receive another $10 gift card for a purchase over $75, as we had no more coupons to show.

Does anyone know if TRU is restocking games and putting out new releases as they get them in this week? Or are they waiting until the sale is over Wednesday night to put any more games out (on Thursday)?

Found on Go Nintendo ... images of the San Antonio TX Toys R Us. Following the B2G1 special, this particular TRU had 26 Wii games left, total.

I can confirm my Columbus OH TRU looked identical to this.

I heard of this and decided to go online to take advantage of the deal. I ordered Fire Emblem, Trauma Center: NB, and RE:UC . I got Fire Emblem in the mail, for some reason they cancelled Trauma Center and gave me my money back. It is now in stock again though. And RE:UC is still backordered and hasnt shipped.

Same experience. I bought 4 and got 2 free at our nearest brick and mortar, then went online once I got home and ordered three more there. Sonic Rings, RE4, and Mortal Kombat were all in the $29.99 point, so I chose those. RE4 and MK arrived, then I got an email that my Sonic and the Secret Rings order had been cancelled. They only billed me for one game, so I got B1G1 from the online due to their stock shortage.

My Cincinnati, OH TRUs (yes, plural) looked worse.

One had zero Wii games left, the other had maybe ten. I didn't count; just left when I knew they wouldn't have what I wanted.

 

I was planning on getting MoH:H2, GHIII, and Rabbids 2, but GHIII and Rabbids 2 were sold out when I went on Sunday, so I ended up getting Zack and Wiki and Battalion Wars 2.
