Forums - Website Topics - Where the hell is blast from the past tab?!

You know some time ago (I guess a year) we had a tab with blast from the past showing retro game sales. I've always wondered why it has gone. That thing gave me nostalgic feelings and helped remember me the good old days. Maybe I've missed something. Does this have to do with the new Interface of VGC? Ok sorry I'm late but visiting VGC after I played duck hunt on NES gave me the intention to make this thread. It would be very cool if you (webmaster) could fix this.

Random top 10 to the right of the Others charts.

On the right hand side of the front page there is a box that shows the top 10 worldwide software.... there are 5 buttons at the bottom of this box to change the content between Worldwide, America, Japan Europe/Others and the final button brings up a random top 10. If you click the text at the top saying "random top 10" or whatever... it will take you to the weekly chart that it refers to.

Yeah but I searched in the database but I can't see the sales weeks of 15 years ago when the N64 released for example. That tab showed nothing related to current gen consoles it was just the old skool stuff such like NES SEGA MS DC SNES PSX N64 even ATARI

My apologises: I can see it now. But again if I going to switch to random weeks I still see sales of PS3, 360 and wii etc...

No idea what you are asking for then sorry.

There are no charts for America nor Europe/others from before the PS2s release.....and there never were. Also the charts from PS2 to Wii/PS3 release are sparse and patchy on the games tracking for Europe/Others.

Japan is much better, but even it can only go back so far..... For example this is the Worldwide chart for the N64s release:
http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly.php?date=35239&console=&maker=&boxartz=1#

BUT it is still only Japan figures because that is all there are back then.
