Oh, I don't care about the stomp damage. Problem is which leg gets raised, sometimes I end up missing the finisher (even though it only wastes like, 10 seconds, it's annoying).

@Highwind, nice, was worried it didn't have that weakness. Just annoys me how Fang is just so much better than Snow!

Been reading some of the script off http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_XIII, I'm kinda craving another playthrough. I feel like playing the 360 version again would be a waste, though... uy, I'm such a cheeve / trophy whore sometimes.

DONE!!!

60 hours. I need to go back and do all the missions (done about 28 of them I think)... how do I do that?

The game save just takes me back to jut before thr orphan battle? Do I just double back or is their a different way of doing this?

When you load the game plus, you'll be on the room before the last boss battle. Go back and you'll end up at a three way area with Warps. The left hand warp will take you back to the Camp area before Archlyte Steppe on Pulse.

God damn you, Proudclad. I mean it. God damn you. Almost 30 minutes of fighting and no HP left on that energy meter and I STILL died? God damn you.

Speaking of game Plus, it should have had a New Game +

Are you using SEN/SEN/SEN or SEN/SEN/MED paradigms? They help a lot against Proudclad, especially when he goes berserk.

Also, are you fighting his first form or second form?

Oh thats when I gave up on chp 12, loaded up my save file on chapter 11 at the end of iot after I beat the boss & grinded like a cat with its tail on fire.

But I think you can beat proudclad by healing a lot, casting slow on it, haste on yourself, bravery helps A LOT.....when it goes into the mode after you stagger it (it continues to attack), just switch to MED/MED/MED or MED/MED/SEN if you have that

Sentry?  What the heck is that?  Honestly, I know what it is but I NEVER use it.  For some reason, it seemed like a lame class so I never explored it.  My team is Lightning, Hope, and Sazh (they're pretty capable since I focussed a lot on Hope).  My paradigms are Med/Syn/Syn to build up our power and Med/Med/Rav when the going gets tough.  I'm fighting Proudclad for the second time.  I guess he had a little more health than I thought he did.  I attacked when I should have healed.

I'll try it again, eventually.  I'm just pissed right now.

*edit*

Did you say I can use "Slow"?  I thought Proudclad was immune to all status attacks!  If this is true than my supercharged Vanille and Fang are going to rape his ass!!

I said I "think" you can use slow, maybe it is immune to them all.

Sentinel is VITAL BTW, use the paradigm.

EDIT:

to elaborate the sentinel will draw attacks from the proudclad to itself, meaning your characters with less HP survive, you can continue building up the stagger meter and the sentinel has moves that can automatically regain its HP while its being attacks

but have you developed the role on the crystarium? If you haven't you might not have some cool moves in the role.

Snow is the only person that I've built up as a Sentinel.  He's also my least used character.

I beat Proudclad a few hours ago, too.  Man did it feel good!  And then, after that, I felt kinda guilty........now I'm just running around Grand Pulse fighting whatever pops up.  Did I see one of the Titans from God of War 3!?!  I ain't fighting that thing!!!
