What about Lightning and Fang weapons?

Is there any easy way to get a good amount of CP in Pulse?

The best farming spot is in Mah'Habara, a set of 6 Bomb enemies, which can be defeated in less than 20 seconds for 7.8K CP

For Fang, you should go for the highest STR or Improved Debilitation weapons, like Pandoran Spear or Dragoon Lance. Lightning you should look into Lionheart (treasure in chapter 12); it has the Quick Stagger ability, but it's a bit lower on overall stats.

oh and I FORGOT to upgrade sazh/snow's crystarium at it was at like 999999 CP for ages

so did I miss out on CP points that they could have got?

I got all main roles of all characters maxed out at level 5 xD 

But yeah, you've missed some CPs, since it caps at 999.999 and you won't gain any more.

Have you had any luck in getting Trapezahedrons?

adamantoise drop them. the drop rate is 1% but it is never that low

Yep, Adamantortoises and Adamantoises have a 1% Rare drop, 5% if you 5/5 and 10% if you have Conoisseur Catalog equipped.
