What an odd ending

Ok, I'm at Chapter 11.

Chapter 10 sucked. Terrible. Terrible.

Damn, I love this game. It really feels like the quintessential videogame epic that this generation needs so badly. Instead of drab browns and greys of warehouses and factories, or any kind of semblance of attempted a "realistic" aesthetic, it is is surrealistic, vibrant, and huge. It feels like when I was a kid playing old 8 bit and 16 bit games imagining what the crazy locations must have looked like, except now with the technology to fully realize those worlds. Playing this game more than any other this generation, I just stop and pan the camera around to look at the amazing locations, vistas and worlds they've made. I don't want this game to end (and luckily I still have a ton of side stuff to do, and a couple of chapters left to complete), but I am so hyped for Versus XIII and I hope they make more things in this world. Just love it.

dunno, i couldnt count all those perverted Numbers, but i killed the Giant Catuar (70%~ left) with this Attack.

but i like lightnings Move too, once staggered, she can push the Stagger Counter up like it is nothing. ^^

But Hope's is also cool.. :D

When do you get those special moves? 

 

they are available in Crystarium LV9, every Character has one, so look out for them.

(Im Sure Lightning's is called Army of One, and i think Fangs is 'Highwind' Translated. but i have no idea of the Other ones. some are to Increase the Counter once Staggered, and the others are Finishing Moves with perv'd ammounts of Damage, but theyll tap the Gauge back to 100%, so some experimenting is needed.)

it is, right :D? and he has still Crystarium lv 9, look at his Health, its somewhere at 7k. i have 17-25k per Character, aswell as double as high Stats. THAT is insane. :>..

the only damn thing is, that the Long Gui's are hard to kill.. i'll retry those asses later, but they dont fuck around with their 16,2m Healthpoints.

Well, I think I might be near the end of chapter 11, on the rust bridge on Oerba. I need to try that out xD 

17-25K HP per character is insane. I'm scared to know about your overall strenght and magic :P I've just hit 1.3K strenght on Fang and 1.2K magic on Vanille, 1K magic and strenght on Lightning. I think those stats are good for the end of chapter 11 xD 

 

Lightning: 2,600~ Strength, 1400 ~ Magic

Fang: 2400~ Strength, 1200~ Magic

Hope: 1400~ Strength, 2400~ Magic

 

others: too lazy to check, but i know that Sazh has 1,2k/1,2k... this looser, lmao.

Fang: 2100 Str/1300Mag/24K Hp (i may be a bit off because I making rough subtractions from her pandora kain's lance stats)

vanille: 1100str?/1700 mag/21050 Hp

Snow: 1500str/ 1100mag/ 30K hp

Hope: 1000 str?/ 2100 mag?/ 18K hp

 

Sazh stats suck on paper but after seeing a vid with someone abusing his "blitz" for insane damage to an adamantoise, I changed my mind about him. I just dont know how to get that kind of damage output and I'm in love with "highwind"

 

well, i think my Copy is buggy then. :P

(i meant ATP Combined with Accessories and Weapons)

 

(note: my Crystarium isnt maxed out yet, so stats are still growing)

and btw, Vitality-Scarf x2 = Instant Stagger = AWESOME xD

wtf does your lightning have equipped to get that strong? I've maxed out the crystaluim and have omega Lionheart and her stats are 20K Hp/2208 str/2208mag

Excessive farming of Adamantoises for Platinum Ingots for 150k a pop. 37% drop rate I believe.

Dude, that drop rate has to be lower than that. Something like 10%. I've killed 12in a row now and got nothing.

If you need to buy that weapon, I'm guessing you've unlocked gilgamesh shop. I'd advise you that the "leadenstrike" skill slows your atb down by 70% so its not worth the money (I personally went with Lionheart also because I love Squall lol)

If you cant take down an adamantoise, an alt source for gil would be to farm perfumes in Eden hall (assuming you've reached/beaten ch 13). Its actually the "most reliable" way IMO because sacrifices and the Santum Inquistrix soldiers drop perfumes like crazy. 1 perfume sells for 12.5K


no i havent unlocked the gilgamesh shop yet im still pretty early on in the game Chapter 5, im just basically planning ahead so i dont waste my components and i just had a flick through the weapons guide and  theOrganyx seems to be the weapon that ends up being the most powerful when completely upgraded and transformed to the Omega weapon with 750 strength and 750 Magic.

Upgrade whatever you need to early on IMO (even though you can prob do w/o upgrading till ch 11). Those components you think you're "wasting" would be cheese in the endgame.

IDK why Wargram chose organyx. Even though it has the best stats, with that speed, it's questionable whether you're truly doing more damage.

I agree they need to make a FFXIII-2

not a spin off ina  different world (like versus)

but a game in FFXIII's world

Its the best world made in a FF game imo

I am loving this game too. I forgot completely the impact recent games made on me like Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. I am feeling FFXIII so much bigger than this games, that i feel like i've played B-movies. Before playing Final Fantasy XIII i scored Mass Effect to between 9.5 to 10. Now i give it only 8,5.
