I'd say the story on its own is better than 8 (sorry lol), 10, 12

The characters are the best in the series to date but as character development & characters are basically "in" the story including them makes it the 2nd best story in the series

I would say the world crafted is the best actually. I love the idea of cocoon, pulse, fal'cie, l'cie

I wanna know more bout the culture & history of pulse......formation of cocoon & so on

we need a spin off on pulse!

Thats the problem I see in Final fantasy these days, some kick ass war happened in the past, and we don't see it!

Also I will say this, I am now back to not hating square enix. Now I just don't care about them! :P (Meaning I am neutral)

I wanted to atleast see a CGI cut scene of the war.....or maybe I do...I mean I haven't finished the game yet lol

All said and done the battle system & characters take the cake......the story isn't as epic as the trailers made it out to be but its a great story.

Its my 2nd favorite FF behind FF6 though.

I hate the first battle of chapter 12...

Theres a few in 12 where if your under leveled. Then you are so totally screwed. Hey Darth you ever get your growth egg?

For me it is in the middle of the list, better than the ps2 conterparts....Might put it higher than VIII after I finish the game.

The CGI at the start of 12 is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in a game...

My god i'm only at like 4.3M

This is taking forevvvvver. If this game wasn't from Square-Enix it would so be on my shelf now.
