do u have to libra enemies to get there entry towards that trophy i thought it just enters them in the bestiary when you beat them

I haven't had much time to play on FF XIII last night was so busy, it's not fair lol.

No, the longest you fight them/more you kill, information fills up. You learn more about your enemies by just attacking. You don't need to libra each one.

I think the purpose is for you to actually control each character and get familiar with each job.

I haven't bought this yet as I'm still playing star ocean and I've done too much to just dump that so ima wait till I've finished star ocean before I buy this, but its looking like its a good game from all of your lots impressions.
PS. what are the final fantsay14 contents that you get with the ps3 version?

lol this game is really funny. characters aren't as bad as i first thought, but some of there lines are so corny, like Snow an' his "im gonna b ure' hero" obsession, an' vanilles ditsyness, an' Hope's Emoness, i swear this dude dethrones both cloud an' squall.

Beat chapters 2 and 3, starting on 4 now...

@Outlaw- oh please, from your point of view MAYBE, but from mine i simply expect perfection or at the very least masterful as IGN would say it... for a game that took this much time to make, is that so wrong?

Anyways...

Chapter 2 - I didn't even realize it was over till mid-way 3, 2 was really fast, reminds me of enchanted arms the way it keeps track of where you are in the game, we get to do more with Hope and Vanille an' tbh there both irritating characters, Hope for being Emo an' Vanille for making me have to say Sarah and Lymle from SO4 have Rivals in voice acting issues department. 4.5/10

Chapter 3 - Okay, okay... now things are picking up, even i have to admit however im starting to notice a new issue now, this game is a freaking button mashing crusade, really... i made a video a lil while ago an' emailed it to my cuz' jus for the lulz (big FF fan) reminds me of a slower version of heavenly sword... which isn't a bad thing... if there were more moves to use. but still from here on out Snow is my new Fave character even if he is a corn ball, he really kicked some ass this tifa wannabe, yar he did. and i think i found a character i dislike even more then lightning ... Fang ... still best chapter so far, 7.7/10 ...

Why doesn't you attitude towards this game not surprise me? :P 

Oh well. You expect perfection, yet you are rating it with so much unperfect bias XD. So far, you're putting FFXIII in the same category as you rated WKC, so yeah...

Button Smashing, chapter 3? Have you been even paying attention to the paradigms and crystarium? Let me guess, you just use attack, attack, attack and don't even care if you are gaining 5 stars, and if you die you just Retry.

Oh, and you're deducting points from entire chapters just because you find the characters annoying? What does characters have to do with the chapters? And, BTW, if you had paid attention to the datalogs, you would have known when chapter 2 finished, you just stepped on a massive hole there, you're clearly admitting that you're not paying any attention to the game, and what mindset are you using for FFXIII.

Let's see in future games, if you're as harsh and close-minded rating them, as you are being now. I don't tend to forget double standards so easily ;)

An' i only noticed the data logs mid-chap 3, i admit i didn't notice it from the start but whatever.

Only for now i am, until i have all characters then i'll stop, i assume fang is the last one so i'll stop from there on.

And nooo, lol i've been using the Sphere Grid 2.0 quite alot actually, its not bad but not good either which is why i didn't mention it, been there done that i expected something new an' fresh no a re-housed Sphere Grid system.

Oh didn't i tell you... i mean i've only said this for like... uhm... the uptenth time? this is final freaking fantasy ... not some "other game" FF games have always rose the bar each game with leaving some subtle things that only a fan would know the same... an' let me tell you this, the changes are actually being outmatched by the X clone features.

The commando/ravanger/medic thing is really neat though, which is why i gave 3 a 7.7 because thats when i really started to get the hang of it.

oh an' i likes me mah 5 stars btw, i take notice its kewl, but either im really damn good or this game is just waaay to easy like... WKC easy... hehe im just sayin ya know. :D

Then, if it's just a game, why do you expect and demand perfection from it, and don't rate it for being a game :P

And now that we're talking perfection, show me a JRPG that is as technically and graphically perfect as the ruins setting of the 3rd chapter. I haven't seen a RPG that looks quite as good as that particular part, and that's bar raising, by going by your rating.

And once again, you're putting a burden in FF that's extremely unfair. FF main focus was never about raising any bar whatsoever (no FF has raised a graphical bar except FFIX and FFX), but melding JRPG concepts and pushing forward new ones in each iteration. It's a popular series for giving JRPG's to the mainstream gamers and by simplifying then enough so that every one can play them.

That's what makes FF different, anyone can play them, anyone can get into their individual stories, but it takes a dedicated FF fan to trully master each individual game, both in it's gameplay and in it's story.

But you clearly dismissed that and want perfection from FF :P Funny, let's see if you do that for Versus, something tells me that even if Versus was worse than XIII, you would still not put so much bias on it as you're doing for FFXIII.

I admit that FFXIII is far from perfection, from what I played so far, but the way that you're making it being a rather lousy JRPG, just because you wanted it to be "perfect". Something tells me that FFXIII could never be "perfect" to you, as anyone in the forums for the past months can attest to that :P
