Wired: 6/10 [not sure if they're still accepted by Metacritic]

The fact that Final Fantasy designers are so willing to experiment is a good thing, because it’ll keep the genre from dying off. But Final Fantasy XIII should be considered a failed experiment. We can only hope it’s a stumble on the path to a brighter RPG future.

WIRED Beautiful graphics and music, lavish movie sequences, unique battle system.

TIRED Takes way too long to ramp up, boring level design, monotonous pacing.

First FF game to not receive a 90 or above metacritic rating since FF7 confirmed!!! I'm not surprised at all. It was bound to happen. What with everybody's completely unrealistic expectations for FF games. FF games have only succeed in reinventing itself, never the entire jrpg genre. If only people would have realized this long ago. *Sign* what a shame.

Gameinformer english version review -- 9.25

MY GOD this is the most mixed reviews I have ever seen.

G4TV's reviews aren't on Metacritic anymore.

People who play the game for what it is vs. those who play for what they want it to be.

How come some reviews appear for one version but not the other.

Love it or hate it, it seems.

Oh well, i know that i will love it on Monday.
