100k sold since price cut, probably to retail but it isn't clear.

Their initial objective of a 500k userbase by the end of the year should be easily passed. 

If its to consumers thats a huge increase, that means it outsold the wii for the 4rth time in the history of nex gen. Hopefully they did sell 100k to consumers, allowing The OTHERS sales to be near 200k this upcoming week. PS3 might hit 6 million before november ends..

I doubt it is sod to consumers since it is such a big number but recently Sony have had a tendancy to talk about numbers sold to cosnumers when mentioning sales in individual European countries so I can't be sure.

well the PS3 will easily be at 6M by the end of November. Needs 500k in 4 weeks, so an average of 125,000 a week. My guess is that it will be nearer 6.5M at the end of November with christmas coming up.

 there was nothing wrong with the Ps3 being at 6m prediction. its just the 200k in others a week that seems more like someone being on good stuff

200k in upcoming week is a nonsense. If this 100k numbers are confirmed to be sold to customers than probably past sales in France would have to be adjusted (and maybe not only in France). Although there is a big diffrence between 100k and vgchartz numbers but ioi has little sources about Europe and it's not imposible that numbers are that far off.
