Depends on a couple factors. Which ever one uses motion plus and has real time battle (if either of them do), I'll be more likely to get that one. It takes a lot more to sell me on an RPG with turn based battles, tends to get slow and repetitive.

Though as of now, I'm leaning slightly towards Last Story. I like the idea one of the original FF creators going back and trying to essentially recreate the series. Also, I'm far more familiar with the FF series than the Xeno games.

Xenoblade is real time. Still waiting on TLS though.

Hmm well that's good to hear. I might have to go back and check out the older Xeno games. I've heard great things about the series.

I'm confused about this. Is Xenoblade just Monado renamed to fit into the Xeno series?

@ sc94597

They probably changed the name because Xenoblade has mechs (like the other Xeno games do) and because the story is more like a Xeno game's story.

Aye.

We know very little about them, but I'm more excited for Last Story after reading this:

"During an investors meeting today, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata said to expect a story theme centered on "universal feelings held by people."

Even more intriguing is Iwata's promise of a new form of RPG."

The Last Story no doubt. Its been 9 - 10 years since I played a sakaguchi game, this will be a delight.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Since all we have are the website and music, and we only have in game videos of one that are from most likely an early build, I'll just judge the site and music, and I'll give the edge to Xenoblade. Both had great, if typical, pictures, but the Xenoblade music is more appealing to me.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

The Last Story since Mistwalker did make my favorite JRPG in Lost Odyssey this gen.

Or I could say neither because I'll probably play and finish Arc Rise Fantasia before both games get a NA release date. It's hard to get excited for games so far away.

Heck, it was that way during E3 08 (just for different reasons), and we still didn't know about the games other than trailers.
