I very well doudt DQX will come out this year.

It can happens Nintendo will need every single big title they can pull out this year, cuz you know ARC and Natal will come out ...

Well Nintendo needs to keep something for 2011 and 2012....  They have a pretty solid lineup right now as it is.  I think its more about pacing and making sure everything doesn't come out all at once like it did in 2009.  Plus, Nintendo can't really control the release of third party games.

And most likely Dragon Quest X is going to come out in 2012 or later.  Even Wada (head of SquareEnix) has made hints that he wants the game to come out in 2012.

Nintendo has definitely seemed to take a greater care in making some more core games lately, after that shoddy 2nd half of 2008 with Animal Crossing and Wii Music being their only flagship titles.

But still, where the hell is my Pikmin 3, dammit Nintendo? Kirby Wii is cool and all, but it will not cut it!

The one thing that is good about their efforts is that each game is radically different from each other. The protagonists in each title are nothing alike. Variety is the spice of life y'know....

2010 and 2011 is gonna be a wonderful time to be a Nintendo gamer, with games for all tastes. Nintendo is back! Great to see, also they are still holding back some HUGE franchises (Donkey Kong, Starfox etc.) and some of their 1st./2nd party studios have been so quiet there must be something epic they are working on too. (Kid Icarus, anyone?) Enough goodness, i say, to spill into 2011 and beyond....

being a big fan of the franchise I too want that game  but it's 2011 at the earliest. The team making it has only just finished NSMBWii

 

We are as close to getting pikmin 3 as we are to getting forza 4 and uncharted 3

There's other rumored RPGs we haven't heard much on recently too (Inazuma Eleven Break, Shining Force Gears, Nunokuni console, SMT Dogma, etc), I wouldn't be surprised if some of them popped back up now.  Plus we're obviously going to get a DQVII remake...

Anyway Nintendo didn't go anywhere :P

Oooold rumor about a 1st person SMT for Wii.  Seemed to be halfway confirmed by Kaneko's comments, but that was like 2 years ago.  I think it might've become Strange Journey to be honest.

Nintendo has ALOT of wii cards their holding, Nintendo is getting alot of third parties to make exclusive games for them it seems.
