Snipers can be awesome to watch at times. Specially the ones which move to other positions and don't grow roots for staying on one spot for too long.

Even gayer than the players that just stand there the entire game?

i enjoyed being the sniper in KZ2, for me no doubt it takes time to get use to it unlike MW2 which is easier.
However i feel, being a sniper in MW2 jus kills the idea of being a sniper.

I hate snipers!!! Okay, it is mainly in CoD, as I play headquaters, and snipers are usually selfish idiots, who never do anything to help take the objective. They are also a pain when you are running to get back in the thick of things, and you get your head blown off, they are so annoying!

Obviously spawn campers are awful, that goes without saying

As long as a map's designed well (or has destructible environments) camping shouldn't be a problem.
