Wagram said: I for one am actually quite happy that the game is more of a linear FF X style. That is what I loved about X. It centered around story while having an amazing battle system. So far it seems like that's what all the reviewers are saying about XIII.
Also I am sort of happy that XIII strays away from all the towns/inns. While their will be towns in the game, there just will not be tons of them like we are used to. I always found it annoying running through towns trying to find every single little thing. and of course you always miss something. and since the game is harder there is no need for inns. |
Yeah, pretty much they focused on perfecting the battle system. I don't enjoy the addition of the replay battle system, probably will still do it the old fashioned way, but I can't deny that it's a plus to those newcomers to the series.
Story is also pointed out as a plus, but this i'll have to see for myself, because after FFXII's story, it will have much to live up to.
