*stilll in shock over FFXIII with no towns/inn*

FFXIII... has no towns? ... or inn's? ... what the hell...

Don't act like you didn't know this already Seraphic, everyone who has done previews has said this already, even Dgc1808...

Not joking, i must have missed that on dgc's impressions and prides review. not saying anything more though since im not allowed to have an opinion on it though.

You can say anything you want about FFXIII, don't start taking it personally like you use to Seraphic ffs.

But I do find it rather odd that you always get surprised by the negatives in FFXIII, even though they have been repeated over and over again, and talked in counteless threads, threads that you have been to as well.

Japanese are weirdos, you can't denie that.

"lol Older games are just terrible by today's standard.
This list shows that Japanese people are very honest, unlike western old trolls who think old games are still good today.
Seriously, who can enjoy the super mario bros 1 today?
Recently I played some SNES games that were popular on virtual console and they were so boring compared to recent games. I also played some popular PS1 games and they were just terrible.
Most recent games are far better than old good games.
The fact you enjoyed old games IN THAT OLD ERA does not mean those games are as good as recent games.
And bayonetta and super mario bros wii, which got 40 of 40 in Famitsu, are not included in this list. JP gamers do not vote for games which got high scores but in fact are not so good."

Maybe that's becausepeople today are too much infected by "OMG Look at those graphics HD, real-life sound OMG OMG OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOD!!!!!!" that when they see an old game they won't even try an old game if they saw one. I played Super Mario Bros. 1 with my 5 years old cousine (and he has a PS2) and guess what? He liked the game.

Above: still the best game of the year.

You know that those two commentaries are against the rules here? There are japanese members on this site. Or would you like for someone to call both of you weirdos as well?

There is only one DQ game but two Tales games on the list? Yup. Japanese people hate DQ :(

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

That's okay, I just found it odd that's all.

Well, when it comes to my part, I usually tend to give counterarguments when I feel like I should. When the FFXIII got content cut thread popped up, it was one of the most annoying moments here, because everyone seemed to suddendly forgot that all FF games have lots of content cut. Or like I usually call it, selective memory.

Are you sure this is an "OF ALL-TIME" list.
It seems more like a "BEST GAMES OF THE DECADE" kind of list with the exception of FF VII, which goes on every list....ever....

lol! my mum and dad calls it that to, selective memory ftw.

as for the subject at hand, i know towns and inn's dont make a rpg, but it was always apart of the rpg exp, even oblivion and enchanted arms had it... so did so4... along with the other things i did notice... im simply starting to question ffxiii's targeted genre and fan demographic.

I question that too, it was one of the things that annoyed me when I first learned of it. But put in the context of FFX and it starts making a bit more sense. FFX didn't have much towns too and no inns. Probably it's a style choice of the team
