Forums - Sony Discussion - GTA Episodes From Liberty City Listed For PS3 Agian! It Looks Credible

it looks credible.... because?

I wonder the same thing for 3 reasons:

-It's hard to believe that this game is coming for the PS3 and Gamestop or Amazon (the 2 biggest websites for this kind of thing) doesn't have a pre-order for it.

-Look at the box art, if it's really official, it's already rated 18+ but by who? ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board)? They never evaluated a PS3 version.

-Maybe they are putting something polemic in their website just for marketing.

I guess it makes sense. Microsoft wants to profit from PS3 sales of this game. They get 50% of profits from this game.

since when do they get 50%?? i think they meant 50% only from xbox 360 version?

I obviously don't know the exact details ...but that would not make sense. They funded the game. Paid Rockstar 50 million to make the DLC.

its called moneyhatting. It doesn't need to make sense. Just money that transfer.

In other words it actually does make sense. They've moneyhatted many games for timed exclusivity. That's not to say they gained anything from the late ps3 versions of them.

yeah, cause Microsoft is stupid like that and likes to have money fights using 100 dollar bills.

Seriously though, if you do some research as to how microsoft got timed exclusives in Japan you'd know that your statment is completely off.

18+ would be european not american. I dont believe RSRB has any say there.

03-31-10 is in two months. Maybe the site leaked the info before the official announcement. Something you wouldn't expect the retailers you listed to do.

So, PEGI should rate the game anyway, right?

Its to late. I'm gonna give my money to the 100 other things thats coming out this year and this is from a big GTA fan.

lol I never will understand this ridiculous stand people have.

"ooh it's too late"

If GTA is a favourite of yours, and some great content is coming out for it, but you're putting it aside clearly because they neglected to give it to the PS3 straight away, you're cutting your nose of to spite your face.

Your loss.

Excitement for anything dies down over time...its just human nature. Everyone is excited on their wedding day but a year or more down the line? Not so much...The same applies to games and gaming related content. People just cant be hyped forever.

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

*sigh* some people just like to jump the gun so quickly that they miss the simplest answers

With all the hype coming out of Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, Alan Wake, God of War III, etc, do you think anyone's really going to prioritize a re-release?

Really bad analogy, of course someone is going to be more excited on their wedding day rather than a day looking back on it 2 years later.

Hype doesn't matter, the actual content does, and that's exactly the same content as the day and date release on the Xbox. The experience isn't any less.

I jumped the gun because I know who I'm talking to. and he was a big fan of GTA. So yeah I expect a big fan of GTA to put this at the top of their list.

Going to buy it right after I'm getting Alan Wake for PC: http://www.thehut.com/games/platforms/pc/alan-wake/10050866.html

....OH WAIT !

I consider it pretty mcuh confirmed then. 99% confirmed. That sure looks legit.
