Yeah, it's called the iBook Store. I'm not clear on the details of pricing or DRM for these files, I just know that they're in a format called ePub:

Not impressed at all tbh, not what I was expecting, just a giant Itouch.
I'm still getting an Itouch 32gb next month, I'd much prefer it over this huge new thing lol.

Do you mean iPod touch? Or are you referring to the iPhone and iPod touch, because I am VERY picky about this

That's one way to look at it.

Another way to look at it as the kindle with color, sound, video, touch screen, apps, albeit shorter battery life. For not much more money.

The standard Kindle (not the deluxe) is about one half the cost of the base model of the iPad.

I just hope that this thing scares Amazon enough that they'll release a cheaper version of the Kindle.

I can accept no multitasking on a phone... on something that's close to a laptop, no.

I want to start off by saying that between my wife and I, we have 2 iPhones, 3 iPods, a Mac mini, 13 inch mac book, and the 17 inch mac book pro I am typing this on...

the iPad was a disappointment. I have been waiting for this day for almost a year, and the thing is not at all what I hoped it would be.

It doesn't do Flash, doesn't multi task, has no camera, no expandable storage, and only comes with a 64 gig drive. The only apps I can run on it, are the ones Apple tells me I can run on it.

That's fine for my phone, but I need more from a laptop replacement.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
