Drive me INSANE! You know who you are.

I know this has been brought up before but it's gotten to the point where the saying has become widely accepted and more popular than the correct expression: "I COULDN'T CARE LESS".

Why is it annoying? Because you're saying "I could care less" when it's clear you're trying to communicate that you do not care at all. Saying "I could care less" indicates that you DO care. Do you see why you're stupid now?

I'm no grammar nazi but this is my biggest pet peeve in the world. I can only hope this thread helps to erradicate this bastardization of the English language, at least on this site.

Haha, exactly! I could say "I could care less about Mass Effect 2" when I actually care a lot about it and still be correct!
