this is good for Japan but could seriously BOMB as Monster Hunter Wii did

Being that Monster Hunter on the Wii is the 12th best selling Wii title in Japan I wouldn't call that a bomb if you use that logic then 99% off all games released are bombs.

i was comparing it to 4m selling PSP version.

it didn't bomb but could have done alot and alot better on PSP.

Monster hunter would do even worse on 360 than Wii

I see the damage control has already started. If this is a MS exclusive and their deep pockets, Capcom's only limitation on this game is their imagination for what they want it to be.

Damage control? Hardly. Need I point you in the direction of Magna Carta 2? I also don't think deep pockets would make much of a difference on a pre-existing game....

Magna Carta 2 is better than 90% of the the RPGs Wii offers, needs I point you to FFCC TCB?  Whose to say that MS x Capcom is going to release it as is?

It's not a RPG, it's an action adventure game.

I think we should redefine what a bomb is. By your post Yakuza 3, Resident Evil 5, Star Ocean among other big games are bombs in Japan too.

Yakuza,Resident,Star Ocean have always sold the same amount as their newest sequels.

but if you compare the sales of Monster Hunter 3 to older PSP and PS2 monster hunter games. You should really try to first understand and then reply or don't

Monster Hunter 2 for the PS2 sold 630k, so yes I can compare the sales of Monster Hunter Tri and see a increase on the sales. On the other hand I can't compare the sales with the PSP versions because the PSP games are a complete different beast, handhelds in Japan are dominant and the market is much more wide than console games.

No duh, it will sell worse on the 360 then it did on the Wii because their are a whole lot less 360's then Wii's in Japan.  Also Monster Hunter on the Wii sold better then all the PS2 versions and their are a lot more PS2 worldwide then Wii's.

It's not what you can call BOMB, it's just not selling like the PSP games, but it's not a bomb.

Monster Hunter is much more popular and suited on portables (local multiplayer is a big feature for japanese gamers).

Also, Monster Hunter 3 isn't free to play (online).

With that said, we should keep these things in mind:

-Portables are more popular than consoles in Japan.

-Monster Hunter 3 is pay to play (online).

-Local multiplayer is a big feature for japanese gamers.

Monster Hunter? for the 360? Huh?

I don't get Capcom, they might as well just make a multiplatform Monster Hunter game, this is ridiculous. Its great to expand your franchise, but if they keep changing the console each game it will only cause problems.

If this is true, LOL.

Odd. Future. Wolf. Gang. Kill. Em. All. OFWGKTA Don't give a fuck!

Fuck Steve Harvey. FREE EARL!

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!

I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!

WARNING RUMORS:

MHF is 360-only, ¥1400 per month, servers separate from PC version, SSFIV on 4/28 for ¥4990, LP2 on 5/20.

And FFXIII would've done much better on DS too. Stop spewing nonsense. Consider this : 1 out of 120 people in Japan (and that's counting elderly, babies, women, etc) BOUGHT Monster Hunter 3.
