It is really funny hearing about MS "singing praises" of a competitor's console sales and Apple.

It's not like MS to play themselves down with statements like "sold FAR more than x360".

Yeah, find me 13 casual gamers that bought a PS3 over a Wii for themselves in 2006...... I'll wait. Nintendo has the entire market to themselves... The games don't even get sold, just mario, wii fit, and the game console..... generally speaking, of course...

It's entertaining because Microsoft has been put in a position where they are forced to argue how much more successful Nintendo and Apple have been in comparison to them.

I would love to see them reply to Datel by trying to make the case that Nintendo is a direct competitor to them. That would be the ultimate in delicious irony but I think I'm hoping for too much to expect that.

I just read up on Datel... I just have to say they are basically crooks. It seems like a lot of the stuff they make for consoles are used fro hacking and piracy.

I am glad that Microsoft had the opportunity to block them out. I am sure that if they could Sony and Nintendo would do the same in a heartbeat

they also make cheaper memory cards, and they are other companies, that were blocked too.

there a difference in blocking hacking stuff than blocking things liek memory cards and wifi accesories, especially since not only other tha microsoft makes them.
