its not up to me to say whether this is legit or not but i know i dont believe it just because of a personal experience i had... to make a long story short. my bro dropped his ps3 looked like the paint was coming off or something.. called made up a story...now his ps3 was filled with dust to the brim... he sent it in got it back in ten days no problems or nothin... end of story.. for that reason alone is why i dont buy it.. maybe our situation was different or fell under another category.. who knows

because as usual you like to throw dirt on sony's name like they are the evil empire or something ... everyone knows Ms customer service is shitty... people dont forget what happened with the xbox live accounts getting hacked because of CS representatives... microsoft has really brainwashed alot of people this year... they did it with windows youd think they wouldnt be able to do it twice i have to give them credit for taking advantage of stupidity

chastising for "Throwing dirt" than doing it yourself? Wow I haven't seen that kind of stuff. Yeah most large corporations C.S. is less then forgiving to their customers but remember the people you're dealing with often just catch sh*t all day and don't receive a high wage. I'd be a bit disgruntled too. At the same time comparing a few retarded C.S. Reps to a clause in a warranty is retarded. C.S. reps mess up this has nothing to do with the company at large or it's policies. Sadly it still sucks to have an account stolen I'm sure. A clause over dust, if it does in fact exist i plan to call tomorrow to find out about this, is a company policy and therefore looks much worse on the company at large. More so than a few dumb low level employees anyway.

  2. According to people on this site, since I own a PS3 now I'm not in any way biased and I can say whatever the hell I want about Sony and the PS3.
  3. PS3's give babies cancer. Sony has been contacted about it and they denied everything and hinted at an announcement about it next week. It's all true, I own a PS3.
  4. In all seriousness, I throw dirt on them when they deserve it. If they do do something right, I praise them for it. While it isn't Sony, I just got done playing the Uncharted demo and it was fun and I'll more than likely get it at some point.
  5. This posts and many like it show off Sony's terrible customer service. I've seen plenty of bad reports on Sony's service, but I've actually never seen a good one. I do admit I could have missed one, but if they truly did have good customer service, little one time things like this would appear all the time. Sony has bad customer service.
  6. When an Xbox breaks, MS fixes them. I don't think I've ever heard of them trying to pull off any crap like this and they'll even fix consoles when people are silly enough to send them in with 4 red lights. Like I said, MS is really good about fixing dead 360's.
  7. I haven't heard of the Live hacking thing (not saying it didn't happen) but I doubt they said Ha ha! fuck you guys. You can call whoever you want but it will come back to me and I'll just tell you to sit and spin.
