I was a Bioware hater until I beat ME yesterday still many years of boring games can't make for it. Square Enix's only decent series is FF. Bethesda is KING!!!

I voted Square because of FFVII and Chrono Trigger. Although the current Square worries me a bit. Hopefully they will redeem themselves with FFXIII, as I absolutely despised FFXII. Although I must say, FFX-2 is kind of a guilty pleasure for me. I absolutely loved it, more than any FF since VII. Haha, I'm sure I'm probably the only FF fan who would say that. But I loved how light hearted and fun the whole game was. And then the new game+ and multiple endings... Great game.

Although if you include SRPG in this mix, then I would have to say that my current favorite RPG developer is Nippon Ichi. I love the depth to their games. Loved Phantom Brave and Disgaea.

It's a tie between Bioware and Intelligent Systems.

I would say BioWare is tie to Square. Both creates awsomes RPG but of course, the style of Square is Japaneese, and Americans don't like that much Japaneese RPG (Final Fantasy and Maybe Kingdom Hearts ARE the exceptions)

But, seriously, the best RPGs of 2009-2010 were:

-Dragon Age Origins
-Mass Effect 2 (out today ^^)

So for now...Bioware owns...but i can't wait for KH3 on PS3! (if theres one!)

Baten Kaitos is incredible.

Atlus, without a doubt. They know how to make a challenging RPG, something that almost everyone else has forgotten how to do. Not to mention that they have amazing stories, the gameplay is always masterful, and there's something about their games that sucks me in...
