So (just to name a few of his movies off the top of my head) you've seen Newsies, American Psycho, Little Women, Swing Kids, and the Prestidge and call him a bad actor?

First off, I highly doubt you've seen all those and I highly doubt that anyone who actually paid attention to those movies could call him a bad actor. 

Second, I just don't believe you've seen all those movie.  I'm guessing you've seen the Batman movie, probably seen the Prestidge, and probably seen American Psycho. 

If I was a betting man, I would saw maybe 20% of users on this forum has seen Little Women, 15% has seen Swing Kids, and *maybe* 5% has seen Newsies.  I would be willing to bet you haven't seen any of these.

And you can come back and copy and paste summaries of those movies, I'm still not going to believe you've seen them.  Why?  Because only two kind of people who regularly use these forums watch those movies:

1. Guys with girlfriends that made them watch those movies
2. Guys who geniulely like those movies

If you're in group #1, you probably didn't want to watch it in the first place and were only thinking about getting laid.  If you were in the second group, I just don't believe you would call him a bad actor.

No, I'm fairly certain you're just a kid who watches generic action movie who calls Avatar one of the greatest movies ever since The Dark Knight.  I wouldn't be surprised if you said Episode I wasn't bad and thought Revenge of the Sith was better than A New Hope because it had more action.

Meh, I've never denied being an jerk and I don't even mind being called an elitist.

That said, congratulations, you own Newsies and proved me wrong (though good ol paranoid me still says you printed out a cover to be petty because I know I could be that petty if bored enough). Anyways, that still doesn't make Christan Bale a bad actor, merely you a bad judge then.

I can say all day that Metal Gear Solid 4 is a terrible game, after all, I hate it, it must be bad right? It's my opinion! How dare anyone say my opinion is wrong!

Thing is though, it's my opinion and doesn't really mean right. I can scream all day about how I despise MGS4 and think it's terrible, but it is a good game. Sure, I can't be wrong that I don't like the game if I truly don't like it, but if I go around spouting it's a bad game I would be wrong (though I think it's a better movie, j/k :-p).

So I guess that's where I could be an elitist since I know I'm someone that can recognize when I'm wrong and what's merely an opinion. I was wrong in my judgment about you and I know my opinion about a good game.

And sure, good/bad actor/game is ultimately an opinion, but really, some games are just good games and some actors are just good. For whatever reason you don't like Christian Bale but he is far far far far from the worst actor out there and he's actually a pretty good one. Not the best, but still good.

You can say Christian Bale the worst actor out there but you're just wrong. This isn't really a 2 + 6 = 54 wrong, it's just an in general wrong.

Keanu Reeves is such a bad actor that I can't even consider him to be acting at all.

iam sure a number of you watched the movie the lake house, this is one of Keanu Reeves epic scenes.

I think most of you don't know what the fuck bad acting is.

You're just naming people who make famous movies that you don't like.

There are far, and I mean FAR worse actors out there than Keanu Reeves. You just don't watch enough B movies to even know their names.

And did somebody say Nicolas Cage is a bad actor? There's a difference between making a lot of shitty movies and being a bad actor. Go watch Leaving Las Vegas or Adaptation and tell me that's bad acting.

And as Khuutra said, after Will Ferrel made Stranger than Fiction he can no longer be called a bad actor.

Yikes, Christian Bale? The guy in The Machinist and American Psycho? THAT Christian Bale?!?! I'd say he's one of the better big-name actors around...

For those bashing Adam Sandler, watch Punch Drunk Love and Reign Over Me. Not amazing performances but far from bad. The same goes for Cage. The guy has been in WAY TOO MANY excellent movies (Adaptation, Leaving Las Vegas, Matchstick Men, Raising Arizona, plus many middling performances like The Family Man) to ever be considered "the worst".

Anyway, my vote goes for Megan Fox and... Megan Fox. Really, I just can't stand that bitch.

worst actress of recent times has to be that Kristen Stewart from Twilight, and im not just saying that. i just reckon I could have acted better in that movie than her, in which case she must be pretty damn terrible. just my opinion though :)

I'm glad that Cruise doesn't play in movies I'm interested in anymore. He used to play in one or two movies I liked when he was younger (it was a pain to watch him in The Color of Money). Also, I hated it when it was en vogue for a few months to claim that he was brilliant in Magnolia. No, he wasn't and he never will be.
