Also replying to the person above.  It counts as his bad acting skills because even without the voice, he just wasn't very good in the movie.  He was better in Batman Begins.  I couldn't even call what he did in Public Enemies "acting".  We could barely understand what he was saying much of the time.  I'm not even going to bring up Terminator or  Harsh Times...

Try actually watching some Christian Bale movies beyond Batman and then label him as a bad actor. 

Don't confuse you not liking a movie with every actor in that movie is a bad actor.

Christian Bale may be a jerk at times but he's actually a really good actor.

To your first point. I mentioned 3 of his movies, other than Batman.  A quick glance at his resume on imdb tells me that I've seen *most* of the major movies that he's been in.  Now that I've done as you asked, I'm still going to label him as a bad actor.

To your second point, I actually liked the Batman movies.  I even went to see TDK twice, then bought the Blu-Ray. I also liked the other actors in it.  I just didn't think Christian Bale was good.  I liked many of the movies that Christian Bale was in because as I said, he's a bad actor who gets great roles (just like Nicholas Cage).

To your third point, I don't really care if he's a jerk, or who he yells at.  Lots of good actors are jerks.

So (just to name a few of his movies off the top of my head) you've seen Newsies, American Psycho, Little Women, Swing Kids, and the Prestidge and call him a bad actor?

First off, I highly doubt you've seen all those and I highly doubt that anyone who actually paid attention to those movies could call him a bad actor. 

Second, I just don't believe you've seen all those movie.  I'm guessing you've seen the Batman movie, probably seen the Prestidge, and probably seen American Psycho. 

If I was a betting man, I would saw maybe 20% of users on this forum has seen Little Women, 15% has seen Swing Kids, and *maybe* 5% has seen Newsies.  I would be willing to bet you haven't seen any of these.

And you can come back and copy and paste summaries of those movies, I'm still not going to believe you've seen them.  Why?  Because only two kind of people who regularly use these forums watch those movies:

  1. Guys with girlfriends that made them watch those movies
  2. Guys who geniulely like those movies

If you're in group #1, you probably didn't want to watch it in the first place and were only thinking about getting laid.  If you were in the second group, I just don't believe you would call him a bad actor.

No, I'm fairly certain you're just a kid who watches generic action movie who calls Avatar one of the greatest movies ever since The Dark Knight.  I wouldn't be surprised if you said Episode I wasn't bad and thought Revenge of the Sith was better than A New Hope because it had more action.
