Forums - Nintendo Discussion - When are we going to see Nintendo Amusement Park like Walt Disney world?

wow just learned pokepark was closed, :( ruined all my dreams

it would be awesome, I would definatly go

I don't think that should happen at all.

I DO think however that there should be a few more Nintendo World stores. Another one in LA and one in Chicago would be great to start.

When nintnedo turns mainstream. Though to be honest. I would rather not. What rides can they can come up with that will attract peopleto come?

Tag:I'm not bias towards Nintendo. You just think that way (Admin note - it's "biased".  Not "bias")
(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true

That would be more than awesome. There was once a Pokemon Park but it closed I think :(

When you consider the amount of people who have bought Nintendo games/systems they could quite easily make a profitable theme park, Giving extra's in nintendo games for visiting the park would be one of attracting people like an extra character in mario kart for visiting the mario kart ride which ou can only unlock by visiting this ride.

OMG OMG!! I thought I was the only one who thought about this. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY GO!! If they did one. IT is a possible since Mario is now more famous then Mickey Mouse and Nintendo universe is as big as Disneys and they could get lots of money, though not that quick. Just imagine a virtual pokemon world, where u could go on this big garden and u walk around with this pokeball looking thing and find pokemons, which would be these electronic things on ground and with wireless tech they could connect. We should spam Nintendo about this! Whose with me???

Well, there used to be a Pokemon theme park in Japan, though I think it's closed down now.

Are you sure it closed? I thought it was still open.

Theme park admission is on the decline nearly worldwide, although the top few parks -- notably Disney World, Disney Land, Cedar Point, and a select few others -- are remaining steady, practically everything else (Universal Studios, Six Flags, any other chain) is slowly declining.

It's not a good time to be entering that market. It's like getting in to the Rhythm Game genre just at this point, when the genre is selling significantly less. Why would you do it?

There are other, more profitable ways to push Mario.

I've always thought this would be an excellent idea... Wonder how they would do a Mario Kart ride that would actually be safe?
