Zelda if it comes out

I think if Zelda Wii ends up coming out this year, It will win the award. However, I am desperately awaiting Team Ninja's take on Metroid. Nintendo's ability to make beautiful platforming sequences, level design and item driven gameplay (the worst part of most Team Ninja games) coupled with Team Ninja's rewarding combat mechanics and intriguing storytelling (Nintendo's achilles heel atm).

well, my hype for zelda has gone down, so I say super mario galaxy 2

If Zelda doesn't lands this year (i think it will comes out in 2011) then Metroid Other M (my most anticipated game of 2010) will easily win (Nintendo + Team Ninja! what a team!) follow by MG2 and MH3

Zelda if not metroid, smg2 being a sequel will hurt it.

I think Zelda will win because its Zelda.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 doesn't look that much different from the first one, so I can say until I play it.
Metroid: Other M has a great shot, it's the dark horse to win game of the year.
Red Steel 2 looks great, but, it has no chance to win game of the year.
The only two 3rd party Wii games that has a shot of winning game of the year is probably Monster Hunter 3 and Epic Mickey.

Zelda, IF it releases this year (I'm still not convinced, and will believe it when a release date's officially announced by Nintendo ). Without a shred of doubt. If it comes out next year, then Galaxy 2, no doubt.
Some websites might pick Other M, if that delivers, but we know nothing about it yet, and it could also turn out to be a steaming pile of garbage in the end.
