I have about $-40k dollars right now. I'd be more than glad to donate but I'm a little lacking. I'd be extremely happy if I could share some of my debt though.

If I'm going to donate money, it sure as hell isn't going to go towards Haiti. I'd rather donate money to Hurricane Katrina relief, since New Orleans is still struggling to rebuild. There is no reason for me to support foreigners over my own countrymen.

If I were to donate to Haiti, it would be through a well-recognised charity, not some charity clearly formed a few days ago with a poorly designed website which wants me to give them my credit card details. It supports eight different charities...could I not just donate to one of those eight different charities?
