@luvtospooge, so how exactly do the gametypes/levels relate? When you first start out what are you limited to? And then as you progress in level, what opens up? I take it Domination is the main form where you capture the objectives on the way to the center?

In the closed beta, when I started I had three game modes already there. Sabotage (32vs32. basically training), Acquisition (never played, from what I understand it was to help with getting a grasp of the scale of game. It was also the very team orientated. I believe it was 64vs64) and Domination (128vs128). In the second beta, only 2 modes were playable. Also, you only had Sabotage until you got to level 10. Then you unlock Domination.

Acquisition and Suppression were locked.

@gamings_best, You do realize the game has play types for just TDM gameplay, right? *facepalm*
Also, MW2 is no different from any other FPS. If you are good at it, you are good at them all. Especially if you play it right and use teamwork rather than just camp or go run'n'gun. What I am talking about in MW2 has nothing to do with consistency, though I do not understand your argument. Bullets hitting different parts of the body should cause different amounts of damage. This seems far more realistic than always taking the same amount of bullets no matter where you hit. The issue with MW2 is just from latency/lag. That's why I used the killcam example because it proves that in that split .5 second gun battle, you may have shot 5 bullets on your screen, but due to latency, the other person never saw you fire to begin with and he is the one that gets the kill then. MAG is dedicated servers, so that should help tremendously on this type of lag, and I was not trying to say it occurs as often as it does in MW2. From what I hear the lag is very very minor in MAG.

@Dgc, yes it was the open beta, and no I have not played it. I am speaking purely by ear from what I have heard.

@CGI, thanks for clarifying. I wonder if anyone has actually played in a 128v128 setup?

bull fucking shit

Calm down bud.

There's a total of 12 maps.

And when you level up, you gain points. These points can be used to purchase gun accessories (ACOG, Red Dot...etc) or perks ( Revive team mate...etc). Sabotage game mode( 32 vs 32) is where you have to destroy or protect 2 objectives, after that a final and last objective is to be protected or destroyed within the time limit. I did not try Acquisition.

In Domination(128 vs 128) there are objectives A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H...You are to hold or stop the enemies from taking these objectives. You start off by respawning at the end of the maps and block the enemies from coming. If they are to attack and destroy your outposts, they'll proceed to the main Objectives (A,b,c,d...etc). They will have to hold/Protect whilst the Winning Gauge is filling up. They have to fill the gauge within the time limit. There are also other things like Radar, Anti Air machinery and bunkers to be destroyed or protected and believe me, they do give an advantage in the fight. There are Squad Leaders and platoon leaders...Last time I played I was team/Squad leader..

Game feels really war like and you feel like you have an importance in the fight, not like MW2 where I just ran and killed everyone I saw.And better yet, as I mentioned, there was little to none lagg! Very surprising.

In regards to having things manageable, it looks like a chain of command is being implemented. This is what armies do in real life, so it looks like it would be a natural for MAG. Wow, imagine it weren't possible. What we would end up seeing is that war wouldn't be possible, because coordination wouldn't be doable.
