Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo introduces 'Best of' series in Japan.

But here's the catch. It's ALL 3rd party!

Indeed a good move, how long before it comes stateside?

Finally a best of series is coming to Wii. I think we will soon see a Nintendo Player´s Choice to see all the games they have taken out of production.

What does it take to be "Best of" in Japan?

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

In this case, nothing.

Nintendo decides themselves what games they want to have a 'best of'

The gold/platinum/bronze/silver selection is probably based on reviews I guess.

So this list is based on recommendations of gamers voted on Nintendo Channel?

//I mean it wasn't called "みんなのおすすめ" for nothing?

Calling those games the best anything is an insult to the Wii.

Yeah, the medals look like they were taken from the Nintendo channel.

I applaud any effort to get cheaper (good) games onto the market. I'm a cheap bastard.
