Forums - Nintendo - how many hours are u supposed to finish twilight princess??

normal people [not those weird gamer types] on first playthrough should take 60-70 hours.

I was just over 50 hours when i finished the main story, i think i had 18 hearts [so

I actually purposefully tried to go as quick as I can. I've never tried to speed run a first playthrough of a Zelda game before and I have to say it made it a lot of fun. I was always on edge trying to get the puzzles solved as fast as possible. Just a tip: rolling everywhere instead of walking cuts about 3 hours off your end play time.

^ really, it didn't seem to look faster in TP... i always rolled for OoT 'cos it seemed a lot faster.... but Link looks like he almost rolls on the spot for TP.

I played for about 20 hours and I just finished the desert temple, not sure if that is good or not.

Rolling is a bit faster than walking but not by much.

i think just finishing the game took me around 30 hours the 1st time, that being said ive finished every zelda game, and the puzzles do repeat themselves a lot unfortunately..

I spent about 45-50 hours with it the first time but never got 100%.

It was my first Zelda I beat and my second Zelda I played.

I was about 50 hours with about 80% completion. I think 50 hours is average.

Top 3 favorite games: Super Mario Galaxy, The Sims 2 (PC), The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Took me 56 hours, but did not get 100%.

Did a lot of things, and half finished others.

I think 50-60 hours is pretty OK. I rarely have the chance to play these big games more than once, so I try to get the most from them on the first run. I also have to play them in small chunks cause life really gets in the way, and I rarely find more than 2 straight hours to play... ever. This means it'll probably take me around 70+ hours to finish it, cause I like to mess around in between. Maybe in a few years I'll pick it up again. Fortunately (for me) these games don't show up every year.

Reality has a Nintendo bias.
